Free activity is the constitutional right of every citizen, and for representatives of the tourism sector it is also an honorable responsibility.
The activities of «Union of Tourist Service Providers of Armenia» NGO are aimed at shaping the future of tourism in Armenia
By emphasizing the possibility of free economic activity, we aim to promote healthy competition, protect the rights of all stakeholders, and properly implement the qualification of guides, drivers, and other representatives of the sector.
The Union of Tourism Service Providers of Armenia is categorically against illegal activities of any economic entities, monopolies, state and other patronage. Our activities are aimed against attempts at unequal competition, any manifestations of corruption, dilettancy, and conformism.
We fight for the free and unfettered operation of individual guides and drivers, small and medium-sized enterprises, for quality services, in the name of preserving national and patriotic values.
And for the effectiveness of our struggle, we call on all tour guides, drivers, all representatives of the sector to join us, because this struggle is for us, for the protection of all our rights.
Together we can create favorable conditions for the unhindered development of the tourism sector, as well as for high-quality and affordable training and qualification.
Together, let’s try to prevent challenges that affect both current and future problems.

THE SUBJECT OF OUR ACTIVITIES
The object of the organization’s activities is the protection the rights and provision of professional qualifications of guides, drivers, as well as other individuals and legal entities operating in the tourism sector.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Ensuring high-quality tourism services in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Ensuring the free activity and rights of individuals and legal entities operating in the tourism sector and protecting them from illegal state and private influence.
Monitoring and evaluating the work of public institutions engaged in protecting the rights of individuals and legal entities operating in the tourism sector.
Elimination of corruption risks in the tourism sector and protection of consumer rights through support and participation in the process of defining professional quality in the tourism sector.
Ensuring independent professional qualifications of guides, attendants and other representatives of the tourism sector, ensuring transparency and reliability of this process.
Monitoring, evaluation, and/or prevention and appeal of processes related to the restriction, suppression or prohibition of the free activities and rights of individuals and legal entities operating in the tourism sector.
POWERS OF THE ORGANIZATION
PROTECTION OF RIGHTS
The Օrganization has the right
— monitor existing problems in the field of tourism and to assess them.
— register, study and publicize the cases of ensuring the rights of individuals and legal entities and their violation.
— involve relevant state and public structures in ensuring the rights of individuals and legal entities operating in the field of tourism, and to assess their work in this direction.
QUALIFICATION
The Օrganization has the right
— propose to the Government of the Republic of Armenia, state and public structures, criteria for the qualification of individuals and legal entities, participate in public discussions on their definition, participate in the work of the relevant qualification subject, and appeal the decisions of the qualification subject on the basis of the relevant professional opinion.
— establish an interim status or appeal the fine, suspension or ban on an individual or legal entity pending the decision of a court or a special professional commission.
— in order to eliminate corruption risks and protect consumer rights, as well as in the event of complaints, conduct a re-check of the qualifications of individuals and legal entities with the participation of relevant experts and issue a corresponding conclusion.
— conduct qualification or requalification courses and provide relevant documents, involving experienced and well-known specialists in the field, in order to ensure high-quality tourism
MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION
The non-governmental organization unites tour guides, trip guides, attendants, drivers, and other representatives providing tourist services.
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia, foreign citizens, or stateless persons who have reached the age of 18, wish to participate in its activities and accept the goals set out in the Charter of the Organization may join «Union of Tourist Service Providers of Armenia»
The issue of admission to membership of the organization is resolved by the President in accordance with approved procedure. He also suspends membership. An entrance fee is established.
All members are under the legal protection of «Union of Tourist Service Providers of Armenia» non governmental organization . They are given a corresponding membership card, which is returned upon termination of membership.
Members of the Union have their rights and responsibilities.
